Today's my EDD (rant)

and I have no idea if sh*t's gonna get real. I had an appt yesterday and I was barely 1 cm, 80% effaced, and -2. She stripped my membranes and man did that hurt! I barely noticed the internal exams, but dang I wasn't expecting that. Anyway I lost my MP throughout the night and it was bloody. Is that considered bloody show? I stopped spotting from the stripping at least 5 hours before I noticed the first bit of MP. I've been crampier since last night but still nothing that would be considered timeable. I just wish I knew the stripping was effective. My next appt isn't until 41 wks 0 days, where they'll do the antepartum testing. I guess we'll discuss induction after the testing is done. I realize things will happen when they're supposed to, but it sucks that my parents flew down here this past Saturday and they leave this Saturday. I just really hope it's not a wasted trip for them.

    it's really hard with family flying if for such an event... babies don't care who flies in, they don't come when you want them to. I hope it works for you!

    Unfortunately an EDD is only an estimated due date, hopefully your LO comes soon but who knows. We live 15 hours from family too, but I wouldn't let anyone schedule flights until 2 weeks after June 21st because I anticipated going late.

    my edd is also today 6/19 .. lost my mucus plug yesterday evening and had regular contractions last night for 5 hours..but they stopped after that and nothing since morning.. lots of labor dust for myself and u ..

    My edd is today, too.  I know the baby will come between now and the next 10 days one way or another.  Trying not to be too anxious about it (maybe that'll help her come sooner, if I'm more relaxed?)!
