XP - BFP but nervous about beta

Wow, it's so cool to be able to post over here. Today was my first beta and it was something like 640. The nurse said, "wow, you are very pregnant, how many embryos did you put back in?"

Still have to go back Monday to see how the numbers look, but we are a little stressed about the possibility of 3 - that's how many embryos we put back in. On TTTC someone said it's not an indication of multiples, what do you think?

TIA - for now, we're just really excited!

    I have heard that high beta aren't an indicator, but I can say that my beta was around the same number. I wish you the best an let us know what happens.

    We also transferred 3 embryos. ?My beta 15 days after egg retrieval (12 days ?after my 3-day transfer) was 432. ?Then 3 days later, it was 1477. ?Congratulation, good luck, & keep us posted!

    Beta number can, but doesn't always indicate multiples. There are lots of moms here with multiples that had a low or normal beta number in the beginning.. and then moms of singletons that had a very high number. I know my first beta was 550, but I can't remember how far exactly along I was.. it was early though. I want to say 4-5 weeks.

    They do say betas aren't indicative but my nurse's all said be ready for multiples after they told me my beta's.

    We put in two and got 2. Beta's in siggy.
