Today is the last day of my diaper trial, so I've really been paying close attention to which ones leak and it seems like I've had so many leaky ones the last few days! DS leaked after being in one for less than 2 hours today.

Re: How often do you change diapers?
Since you're in a trial, have you been able to keep track of which ones leak and which ones haven't? And - is the rise adjusted correctly to make sure the legs aren't gapping? Are the inserts soaked (you can just add more absorbency if that's the case)?
I typically change every 2 hours, however - certain situations, like being in the car seat - seem to cause leaks. I have worse luck with pockets than with AIOs. I never have leaks with fitteds and a cover.
Started TTC 05.08
Me: Stage II endo, borderline high FSH
DH: perfect
1 lap, 5 IUIs = 4 BFNs and 1 c/p
2 IVFs, 2 FETs = 1 BFN, 1 c/p, 1 ectopic and finally a sticky BFP in May 2011!
1 FET in Aug 2013 = BFP!
We have only had leak problems during nap/bed time except for one time during awake time. All leaks except for maybe one were due to the diaper not fitting right. The insert will barely be wet so I know it has to be a fitting issue. She has skinny legs and I have to really watch for gapping at the legs.
If she is wearing a pre fold I usually change her every 1-2 hrs. If she is wearing her BG, or Kawii Heavy Duty, I change her every 2-3 hours.
I almost never have leaks, and when I do you can usually point to user error as the cause.
Certain diapers fit better than other based on your LO's body type. If you are all of a sudden having an increase of leaking, I would be looking at repelling issues. What is your wash routine? Are you using any creams?
To answer you question, we change ever 2-3 hours.
2-3 hours during the day and he'll go up to 12 hours at night.
Some diapers just always leak for me. That was frustrating with a small stash, but now that I've built it up a bit I don't have to use them anymore. - Oh Katy and Thirsties AIO being the 2 biggest culprits for us.
BFP #2: 8.31.16 Dx w/ GD @ 28w DD Born @ 36w: 4.21.17
1 1/2 to 2 hours. I currently have a heavy wetter.
I've been washing them in hot water with 1/4 the recommended detergent. Sometimes I start with a rinse cycle. I hang them to dry. I haven't used any creams.

If the inside isn't very soaked but it still leaked, it's likely a fit issue. Some diapers just don't fit certain babies well.
I change DS every 1-2 hours, but we're getting ready to transition him out of his newborn prefolds to some bigger ones. I suspect it'll only add another hour before we change him though.
