My baby farts.

A lot. Most of the time it's just silly little toots, but sometimes he cries out when he's passing gas. Lots if times farts come with his bowel movements, but usually they are dry. Anyone else with a farting baby? Should I do something about it, or just keep giggling about how jealous daddy gets that his boy's farts are way more impressive than his?

    Sam farts constantly.  Unless it seems to be painful for your LO, I wouldn't be concerned.  We just giggle.

    Yup, my boy has lots of toots, too! Sometimes he does seem to be quite uncomfortable and he sometimes strains to get his poos out. But he is gaining weight just fine and the pedi says he's perfectly healthy, so I'm not too worried about it. :)

    My baby farts ALL the time. The farts practically pour out of his butt.

    Totally normal.  When we asked the pedi about it at her one month checkup, his reply was: "100% of parents tell me they think their baby is too gassy when they come in for the one month checkup. Not 80%. Not 90%. 100%."

    Ooohhh yeah! My son makes his Daddy proud lol... I swear its so loud I think it is my husband. My husband always says to me "why is it cute and funny when Ben farts but when I fart you yell at me and say I'm disgusting?" haha.

    Yeah my baby girl farts a lot. At times it is just so horrible & if she & DH are in the same room I have to ask which one of them did it!

    Adalyn is quite the tooter! Sometimes she'll make a noise right before--we call it her war cry.  :)

    Dd nick name is trucker. She farts and burps like a trucker. Her first word will probably be a curse word at this rate!

    Sophia burps like a champ and toots like Louis Armstrong. I always say she's practicing her trumpet when she poops. The only problem is she frequently toots/poops just as she's beginning to breastfeed and I need a gas mask. Guess she never heard the expression "Don't sh*t where you eat." Ha!

    Haha! I'm so glad he's not alone! Last night he farted so loud he woke himself, my husband and me up. Horray for stinky disgusting babies!!

    We get a lot of sharts around here... almost always while she's eating.  So ladylike.

    LOL this for us too! Her nn is Thunder Britches. My favorite is when it's accompanied by a poop-up-the-back. Woohoo!
