Cloth Diapering

cloth pull-ups?

DS has rocked the potty training, but still is wetting and pooping overnight and sometimes over nap. At night, once we put his diaper on and often after he is in bed, he needs to go potty again and we have to unsnap the fleece cover and pocket diaper to get them off of him. He's a pretty heavy wetter (at least it seems that way, we've had leak problems during sleep for quite awhile). Every once and awhile he will wake up dry in the morning and often during nap.

Any recommendations for reasonably priced cloth pull-ups we could use at nights so that he could do the potty thing by himself if he needed to without hollaring for us?  I saw some pretty expensive ones, and honestly, I don't think he's going to be in them for very long, plus $30 per is a bit too steep for me.

  • I've heard that the swaddlebees simplex 2.0 are good pull ups because they attach on the sides LO is able to pull them up or down themselves and they have a pocket you can add more absorbency to.

  • I second the swaddlebees simplex 2.0.  They are so easy for my son to pull up and down as long as they aren't too snug. They are also a sleeve style AIO - the soaker is fully attached and folds out when it agitates in the wash, but the design creates a pocket to add another soaker if you need it.  Great for overnights.  Plus, they are cotton, not stay dry, so if he does wet, he'll be able to feel it - great for training to get up when you have to pee overnight.

Grovias have the same stretchy side tabs and snaps, but since they are not attached in the front, it can make pulling them up a pain in the butt, since you have to hold the front of the insert up.
