I think if I'm going to make nursing #2 work with a toddler, I need to figure this out and never did/had to with my first.
We have a Beco Gemini - is that an an option?
I hear slings are the thing for nursing, true?
Although not specifically a carrier, has anyone tried a Koalakin?

My favorite nursing carrier is the Babyhawk.
When he was really little I tried with the moby several times and just couldn't get the hang of it, so I kind of gave up. Looking back, I think the problem was that I had a pea-head baby and pumpkin sized breasts. Without head support, he was really just getting smooshed by boob and it would take me 2 hands to hold it for him which kind of defeats the purpose in nursing in a wrap.
When he was a little older (and bigger headed with neck control) I tried nursing in my Mei-tai and it was really easy. Just loosen the straps, lower to nipple, and he'd latch on himself. I've found it equally as easy with the Ergo - same concept, so I would think the Beco would be similar.
