Gift to baby/brother

I want to get DS a gift from baby and DS to baby... What did you do?

    We got DD a book called 'I'm a Big Sister Now" and then we also just got a random toy that I thought she would like.

    We did not do a present from DD to baby since she is too young to understand giving a gift to the baby (and in fact claimed many of the stuffed animal gifts that other people bought for the baby).  But I guess you could do a "Little Brother/Sister" shirt or something like that.

    My friend just did Build a Bears for both the older sister (she went with to make it for baby) and then they did one for the older sister from baby. Seemed like a cute idea. When I had DD, DS was very into Elmo so we got him some books, flash cards, etc. DS gave baby DD a small doll and shirt that said little sister.

    I'm just lurking, and not really 2u2, but I'm close so I'll share because I spent alot of time thinking about this.  DD is a little spoiled, only grandchild on my side, only girl on DH's, and she's really not that into toys, so I got her things to keep her busy when she came to visit the baby.  I got her some fancy juice boxes, fun size snacks, Yo Gaba Gaba playing cards, nail polish and lip gloss.  She is very attached to her elephant head/ blanky, so I took her to pick one out for the baby.  It's so cute, when he cries she gives him his blanky and she seemed a little unsure with the hospital visits, so the treats kept her busy.
