Holy moly! I finished the book in 2 days. So good...and dirtier than I expected. However, just finished and found myself a hot crying mess at the end! Sad, yes, but I'm thinking hormones had a lot to do with it!
I just started it last night... only about 30 pages in. Trying to find time to read and be able to keep my eyes open is proving tricky. Damn this first trimester fatigue!
I liked the books and some ladies really don't and feel books/movies like 50 Shades ruin marriages. I'm not sure how that is possible as I'm fairly certain we conceived after I read the books as my sex drive was greatly increased! It was fun!

I think I'm the only person I know who isn't into it. I started reading it a while ago and just can't get through it. I just started chapter 11. Does the book get better as it goes along?
I think its either you love it or you hate it. I, personally, hated it. I couldnt get past the bad writing and the repetition. I was determined to finish it though and by the end I found myself skipping over the sex parts thinking, Really? Theyre doing it AGAIN?!

I disliked it. I honestly had some fundamental issues with it related to it starting as fanfic, but I just couldn't resist the hype so I thought I'd borrow it from the library and try it out thinking that since it was so popular it must at least be entertaining, but I just couldn't do it. I hated the characters, the writing was so bad, the storyline was boring. I can't at all understand why these books are so popular when there is far better erotica out there. A few steamy sex scenes aren't going to entertain me for 500+ pages (not to mention an entire trilogy!) when there isn't any substance to the story. Obviously that's JMO, but you're definitely not alone in not liking it. I had to give up after 100 pages and it's extremely rare that I don't finish a book
I read all 3 books despite the awful writing. The story was okay, but it was just like reading an x rated version of twilight without the vampires and werewolves. Also the characters were not believable in my opinion. But for some mindless entertainment it was alright.

I read the first book, then started the second one & never finished it. I doubt I ever will. It was just the same things over & over again. And the writing was TERRIBLE!

I really liked it. I only read the first book so far but I plan to read the others if I have time. It was mindless, trashy entertainment. I'm not expecting fantastic writing skillz when I read a book like that. In fact, I was rather annoyed at any attempted building of storyline not having to do with their relationship.
This book was terrible, IMO. Read some Lora Leigh, or Maya Banks, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Larissa Ione, Kresley Cole, JR Ward... so much better stories, plot, men AND professional writing.

I read all 3 of them at the beginning of April and low and behold I got preggo while I was reading the last one- haha. They are intriguing and dirty at the same time- easy reads that get ya in the "mood" :-)
Loved the first book, 2&3 were kind of meh. I got sick of all the gasping and inner goddess stuff.
I'm about 100 pages into the 3rd book and at this point it's pretty much just to finish the story. For a quick, light read it is decent, but I want to shout at her "I get it! Your inner goddess loves it."
I finished the series a few weeks ago and I loved the entire thing! I didn't realize it was going to be THAT dirty, but I had some mind-blowing dreams in the time I was reading it.
I am halfway through the third book. I agree that the writing isn't the best and her inner goddess gets a little old, but otherwise I've been entertained by the books. The story does get much better and you start to really like the characters.
Here's a question for you ladies that did like the books, who do you see playing Ana and Christian in the movies?
