  Sorry, it has been an insane week.  Since I normally have a great relationship with DD's teacher I decided to speak with her directly.  I told her so and so told me she was putting artificial sweetener on her food.  She got very defensive and said she was not doing this.  We were interrupted by another teacher with and another baby.  I didn't know what to think of her defensiveness so I left.  I needed a few minutes to think.  As soon as I got back in my office 5 minutes later the director called me.  Her teacher told her what was going on which led me to believe this was not happening.  But when talking to the director, she told me that the woman who told me that they were putting it on DD's food denied it.  She clearly told me "Ms. XXX has tricks to get Ali to eat, she put artificial sweetener on her food" 

  I am not sure what was going on.  If they were putting it on her food, they aren't now.  But since I said something, DD's mood has changed.  She is back to her old happy, calm, laid back self.  She was a crazy woman over the past month and I thought it was just a phase.  She is also not eating all of her food at daycare.  Maybe because they are not putting anything on it?  The director reassured me this would not happen again.

   DH and I are deciding what we need to do.  I don't think we will ever know the truth.  If anything, I think her teacher thought she was doing a good thing by giving her the artificial sugar.
