Successful VBAC's-age difference between children??

Hi everyone, just a quick question. I had a c-section with my 9 month old back in August. I am now pregnant and due again in January. The reason for my c-section was a double placenta (crazy weird) blocking the baby's exit and causing her heart rate to drop with the contractions. I haven't gotten to talk to my OB about a VBAC, but I'm worried that I didn't wait long enough between births. My kids will be about 17-18 months apart. Anyone successful with a VBAC with babies close in age?

    17-18mo sounds fine honestly.  Mine will be farther, and of course I haven't had a VBAC yet, but after my c-section I asked what the soonest they'd offer a VBAC and it was recommended I wait at least 1 year between births.  So, I think you are well in the clear.

    I've heard 18 months in between deliveries.  My two are 24 months apart and I had no issues with my VBAC.

    I haven't delivered yet but my OB is fine with trying, these 2 will be 16-17 months apart.

    The official recommendation changed recently from 12-18 months, but I think a reasonable doctor would think 17 months was okay.

    My boys are just shy of 19 months apart and I had a very successful VBAC.  My OB's never acted like this spacing was a problem.
