All the time. I asked my doctor about it (I knoe I'm a nerd) and she said that it's way worse for me than it is for the baby, but that it would become uncomfortable for me before any harm could occur.
Lately I've been waking up and propping myself up laying on my back. I know it's probably not the most ideal, but with the carpal tunnel, I can't lay on my sides very long anymore. The pressure from laying on my shoulder or bending my elbow sends pins and needles through my hands. I really haven't noticed my body sending me signals not too. I do try to lean my hip to one side or the other so I'm not putting all the pressure on my lower back
Almost every night. I asked my doctor if I should worry, he smiled and said no, it is fine. I figure whatever made you roll to your back, will probably make you roll back to your side when you need to. =o)
Re: Anybody wake up and find themselves on their back?
Thanks ladies. I feel better about it now. I haven't really been uncomfortable so I guess it's not the end of the world.
Practically every night!
