When did you find out you were having multiples?

My Dr *thought* she may have seen more things on the ultrasound at 5w. Since I have a titled uterus, they are going to check again on Tuesday. She didn't recommend doing a Beta at this point so I dont know why my hgc levels are. When did you find out?

It was my first ultrasound and until that ultrasound we assumed it was a typical singleton pregnancy

8 weeks 2 days. I was having some spotting and my ob sent me for an u/s and the whole time we thought we were losing our baby and found out it was three healthy babies instead!

6w2d. Had some spotting and thought for sure I was miscarrying again. Wrong! 2 sacs and 2 heartbeats were seen instead.

I found out at 8 weeks, 5 days. Standard u/s to check the viability of the pregnancy... I used clomid for the twins so the Dr knew we were right on with dates.

We didn't have a clue until I had an ultrasound at 15 1/2 weeks. It was very shocking to us, especially finding out that much later then most do.

8 weeks. It was my first u/s. My dr doesn't even check until that point. It was like "oh theres the baby and there's the other one" My reaction wasn't funny then, but its funny now. Good luck!

8 weeks at my OB office she was 95% sure. She sent me to an Ultrasound facility to confirm, at 9 weeks.

6w in the ER. Otherwise, it would have been closer to 9-10w.

we found out at my 5w US... there were 2 sacs... at 6w there were heartbeats and little babies in the sacs (we were so releived! I was so afriad it was blighted ovums at first).

i guess you are seeing an OB? I can not imagine why an RE wouldn't do a beta.... but even still- a high beta does not = twins. My betas for my singelton and twin pg's were very similar.
