Does the knee to knee thing really apply for a toddler? I still wear my 2 year old in the Ergo and he's at the top of the charts for height. He seems fine with it.
I haven't tried a Kinderpack so I cant get on the bandwagon but can offer some alteratives . I do want to try one but just havent found one to bring home with me yet.
DreamCarrier is our new best friend here (we have the toddler size with the 20 inch seat)
Kanga XT or XTP depending on how big your kiddo is.
Also if you are ok with buying a used carrier check out the FSOT boards on thebabywearer. I've gotten all of my carriers over there except my Ergo (didnt know about the site then) and have saved a lot of money and been able to try out many different carriers/change carriers as DD has grown because of it.
And for whoever asked about knee to knee still being important at this age, yep it is. It helps keep them more comfy in the carrier since their legs are more supported and hopefully arent then falling asleep or getting tingly from hanging at a wierd angle.
The Tula is one of the best yet overlooked because it's not as mainstream as the others. Olives & Applesauce and Bamberoo also make awesome toddler carriers. And, all these companies make wrap conversions and to me, a wc is so much more comfortable than just buying a regular carrier!
