Party tomorrow...

I have mixed feelings about the party, unfortunately. FIL will more than likely not come. MIL and FIL divorced 9 years ago, and FIL still isn't over it and has always refused to be around MIL and her family. He wasnt at our wedding, we even did two receptions in hopes that he would come to my side of the family's reception. He's also never met my parents because of that and he lives 30 minutes away.... Oh and maybe it has something to do with the fact that he told DH not to marry me Hahahahahaha. 

So, if FIL doesn't come, I'll probably never forgive him for it, and I'll be irritated about it for the rest of our lives. I'm disappointed that DS's grandpa is like that, and won't share in special occasions with him, but at least DS won't know the difference and has a wonderful grandpa in my dad.

Hopefully everything goes well tomorrow. We're just doing cake and ice cream, but there will be about 60 people so I'm still kinda nervous! Can't believe my little bug will be one year old on Tuesday!

    No one from DHs family showed up to G's party.  I understand that they are 2-3 hours away, but I had it on a day and time when I knew most of them could come out.  The thing that I am still upset about is that not one of my ILs called to wish G a happy birthday or even sent a card.  But the party was great, even without them - their loss.

    Have fun at DS's party and take lots of pictures!
