at home in labor

So this morning my contractions were 5-6 min apart for more than 2 hours lasting for almost 1 min each. I then lost my mucus plug so when I called my dr.s office they told me to go ahead into L&D to be checked. When I arrived my contractions were still that far apart and gaining in intensity. They checked me and I was 2 cm. Alas another 2 hours later still only 2cm dialated, contractions still 5-6 min apart but getting even stronger. I am an RCS because of previous c-section and hospitals insurance will not allow VBACs. Dr. said I could either wait around hospital to see if I dialate or go home to wait. We have a 6 & 8 year old that were coming back from exes  houses so we didn't want to have to figure out a babysitting situation while I was just waiting. So almost another 2 hours later still having same contractions but at home wondering if I will make it to hospital on time for my c-section.

    Thanks!! Unfortunately I have not gone any farther....stalled. :(   But the good news is that my c-section is set for Tuesday so only 3 more days and all this pain will be over. Definitely been a long road since I've known I was pregnant since I was only 4 weeks.
