Another question I have is about bras and underwear. I have not bought any new bras or undies since becoming pregnant and its a major issue because everything I have is not comfy at all (too small) and I really need some new stuff. I really would like to find some cheaper ones (money is an issue rght now)
Also I am not sure what to do about sizes for them, should I just go up one size for undies and bras? I know I can at least try on the bras, but I guess with the undies its trial and error. All opinions are welcomed!! Thanks!
Re: Bras and undies
For undies, I just bought a few packs of cheap cotton Hanes/Fruit of the Loom undies at Target in a size larger than I normally wear. I bought the bikini kind so they fit under my belly. If my butt grows some more, I may need to go up another size, but at least I didn't pay that much money for them.
For bras, I suggest going to Victoria's Secret or another bra store that will measure you and then buy that size. It could be you need to go up a cup size, or a circumference size or both or more. It's hard to predict. Everyone is different.
For the bra, my advice is to measure to get an accurate size and avoid underwire! For undies...sigh. I'm starting to realize I may need to go up a size, too. Or maybe get some bigger, hipster style ones instead of the low rise bikini. Boo.
This. I havnt worn cute underwear since I was pregnant with DD, haha.

I'll love you forever Baby Speck
I was able to just buy bra extenders for like $3 to help with bras. If you go up in cup sizes they probably won't work for you though. Target usually has decent bras on sale or you can even catch some awesome deals on victoriassecret.com.
For panties, I bought the 5 for $25 at victorias secret-the boy cut ones are super comfy and they last forever.
OMG, I could never wear non-underwire. I'd look like a mess! OP, either way, definitely get measured. I went up one size in undies, and they're low-rise bikini and hipster styles.
With all of my underwear, I've just been using the same ones because they hit under my bump and aren't uncomfortable yet. I'm going to have to go up a size soon though, because they don't seem to be covering my whole butt anymore
Before my belly started growing, my breasts really started growing--and since it was so early in pregnancy, I knew the size would continue to change. So I did not spend the money at a Victorias Secret or bra specialty store. I am sooo glad I did not do that--and just figured out my own size by trying on about 10 different bras to find the right fit. I have had to do that a second time and I am now on my 3rd bra size change!
For my first "upgrade" in bra size, I went to WalMart (of all places)... Seriously not bad bras for the money. ($10 compared to a VS $70 bra, I am more than happy). I grew out of those 2 bras within a month.
I then did my next upgrade at TJ Max, I paid just over $10 for one bra and just under $10 for one. I still LOVE one of the bras that I got there and all but prefer the construction, comfort, appearance to other VS bras I own (in my pre-pregnancy size).
I finally had to even get a new sports bra and got one with the right support at Old Navy in the next size up (from medium to large). I am very happy with that.
My final bra size upgrade was achieved via some hand me downs from a friend who just had her baby and was willing to give me her pregnancy bras. I have no idea where the hand me downs came from, but I think from Marshalls or TJ Max...
My bra size has gone from a 34B to 38D... or more. So, I have really needed the variety of sizes. Since I also used to be somewhat small chested, I am learning as I go with how to deal with larger breasts.
I also hear that we will continue to grow until birth at what point your breasts grow A LOT more when the milk comes in... so I am certainly not settling on a nice/expensive new bra until about 2 months after birth when they have settled into a nice stable nursing size.
