Anyone else with AF blues? Let's cheer ourselves up

Welcomed that b-tch AF today, right when I'd convinced myself of a long list of pg symptoms. So, to make myself feel better, I'm going out with DH for sushi -- lots of raw tuna -- and a big fat vodka soda. Or three.

How do you all cheer yourselves up when AF shows up?

My period is due tomorrow and we are going to ILs to celebrate Father's Day. I will probably spend the afternoon drinking beer with FIL (and maybe a shot of Wild Turkey). Come to think of it this is how I spent the saturday before Mother's Day, only hopefully this time will not include MIL screaming at FIL for things he has no control over.

I have been having a glass of wine the last 2 nights and might upgrade to this tea style/flavored vodka we have with a splash of lemonade. Since it's Friday. And it sounds good.

I just finished my first beer because of AF and I'm starting in on my second because DH is traveling for the next cycle. Thank jeebus that it's his last trip until he switches jobs.

I think booze is the unanimous answer lol. I was in the same boat as OP...started mine yesterday after I thought I migh have had a glimmer of hope. So I went home last night, told DH (who was actually much mroe disappointed than I was, suprisingly) and then promptly downed the last 1/4 to 1/2 bottle of wine I had in the fridge. Then we went for Mexican food last night and I just told the waitress that I wanted the "biggest-ass margarita you have". Problem solved : )

I usually eat whatever I want the first two days of a new cycle. I'm spotting so I'll be starting soon. Tonight I'm getting drunk at a party. It's a bonfire so hopefully there will be a lot of s'mores.

Love all the answers, thx for replying! Esp shopping and Firefly vodka. Going to add both to my AF weekend to-do list. In that order, though ... drunk shopping doesn't end well.
