This happened to me. I went in for my appointment on Friday of Memorial Day weekend when I was 38 weeks and 6 days. I was checked and was not dialated at all. The doctor told me it was likely I would definitely go to my due date and maybe beyond. I was really discouraged. Well, low and behold, I lost my mucus plug out of the blue on Saturday, had a bloody show Sunday night and started contracting. My son was born Monday afternoon.
Just know your body will do what it needs to when it's ready. As much as our doctors can do their best to predict, it really is unpredictable. Don't get discouraged.

I'm in the same boat.
I figure, it will happen with it happens. I'm using this time to get caught up on things at work and at home.
