Thanksgiving dinner! ZOMG! It's 7:55 and I could so get down with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, soft roll with real butter, cranberry sauce.... the works!
There is a restaurant about twenty minutes from me called Thanksgiving Dinner 365 Days a Year. Spare yourself the cooking and see if there is a location near you.

They're only in Ohio I would have gotten in the car right now if there was one close to me.
I ended up buying an extra can of pumpkin at Thanksgiving last year and I keep debating if it would be strange to make pumpkin pie in the middle of the summer. Also, since DH doesn't really like sweets, so I would end up eating it all myself... I can't decide if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

Really? I guess that would explain why I'd never seen one before moving out here from NH.

ughhhhhh.... *drool* i've been saying that for months now because last Thanksgiving i was vegetarian and didn't have turkey...once i got pregnant and i stopped barfing i wanted some turkey!!! Plus my DH said my Turkey was way better then the turkey served last yr. So he was down with the idea of me making a turkey in the middle of spring and having our parents over lol.
My parents/husband/siblings made me a full on Thanksgiving dinner, complete with a twenty lb turkey, for my birthday last week. It was the sweetest thing. I had mentioned that I had been thinking about my Dad's stuffing and they made a full "Melsgiving" evening. My Dad even went out of town and got a few fireworks to shoot off. It was delicious.
There is a sandwich shop near my office that does a Thanksgiving sandwich. I regularly have a nice turkey sandwich with stuffing & cranberry sauce on it.

Oh man, make the pie!
I second this--make the pie!!
I also had an extra can of pumpkin left over, used it to make my bacon-pumpkin bread the other night. I might be eating the last 2 slices of it as I type this...
Mmmm...dressing, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, home made creamed corn, greenbean casserole and jalapeno-cheddar cornbread...oh the things I'd do for that meal right now...
Yum! I just had thanksgiving in March because my uncle has brain cancer and he wanted to have it in March because he knows he isn't going to be around much longer! But he is still fighting!
But yes I can go for all that yummy food right now. The chicken salad I just had didn't even compare to wanting thanksgiving!

Crap. I need that dinner now! I sure hope I'm remembering correctly and that there is a turkey in the freezer still. Ugh. I want that SO much more than the Pho we are currently waiting for.
