Please poop today!

I know it's normal and I'm not worried but Lucas hasn't had a good big poop since Monday and he's getting cranky.  I really hope he has a good poop today I feel bad since I know it's bugging him and I am not looking forward to the amount he'll blow out if he doesn't go soon. FYI he's ebf and is having plenty of wet diapers.

    Bicycle legs! Works everytime. Just be prepared for a potential blowout.

    Try toes to the nose. It's a flexibility excerise that also works. Take one foot and vein the toes gently to the nose and bring it back to the tummy, lightly applying pressure with his legs to the tummy. Repeat with the other leg, then with both legs. I clap his feet at the end. Later when they're older, it makes them laugh. I go through the chin, mouth, nose, eyes, eyebrows, and very carefully, the ears. At the beginning and the end, I do bicycle legs while singing a song. The whole routine takes about 30 minutes. You can also gently rub his tummy with small VERY SMALL pressure and get it stimulated.

    im BF but also supplementing with formula and my DD has had this problem and was so miserable just screaming with pain.  Pedi said to try dark karo syrup mixed with a little water and that didnt work, so then came the prune juice....let's just say it worked well and quickly! at 4 am i hear my husband saying "oh my gosh, oh my gosh!"and then i heard the bathtub running  lol   hope your LOgets some relief soon, it seems to hurt their little bodies so much!

    When I was BF, I had the same problem with my LO... he went a whole week.  :-/

    My pedi said to put a little vaseline on the tip of your finger and stick it in his hiney... poor baby! But it worked! oh boy, did it work!  haha

    Thanks girls I took colace yesterday hoping that helps him.  I don't want to give him anything but breast milk this young if I can help it. If he doesn't go this am I'm doing the thermometer trick. Last night was rough he was tooting and in pain so here's hoping today's the day.
