Oh...wow. That breaks my heart. As I read it, LO started kicking around and I just held him...I cant imagine being forced to abort my baby at this point (or ever). So sad.
For the all the things people don't like about America, you're right Lisa, we can count our blessings for basic civil and human rights we are afforded every single day.
Absolutely heart breaking.
July Siggy Challenge: Chambord Pomegranate Margarita. YUM!
Oh my gosh this is so heart breaking. I'm stupid and googled the pictures to see if it was true that they are on the web. There are pictures of the mom laying next to her baby. Please don't google them, they are HORRIBLE! It makes me so sad to think this poor woman lost her baby, not by choice or medical reason, but because they couldn't afford the $6,300 to keep it so the gov't took her baby from her. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have my little girl kicking away, knowing she is safe and that in 7ish short weeks, I will be holding her in my arms.

That is awful! I knew that China had policies making second children prohibitively expensive to have but I didn't know they forced late term abortions. With all the people willing to adopt in this country and in others, I don't understand why she couldn't have carried the baby to term which would have given her husband 2 more months to come up with the fee and if not, placed the baby up for adoption. We are very lucky!

This is the saddest thing I can think of happening to any of us right now. We are so lucky to have the freedom we do in America. I never knew things like this were happening over there.

I did it too...stupid, stupid, stupid!
As did I, I was already feeling nauseous after watching the news video and got even sicker when I saw them
