Let's get it started early today!

1. I've spent the first 45 min of my work day on TB.

2. I sent DD to daycare in overall shorts today. No snaps in the crotch. I really did think about what a PITA it will be for them, but I want her to wear them before she outgrows them, and it's just starting to get warm enought for shorts!

3. My friend invited me out for drinks on Saturday, and I really don't want to go. It's marathon weekend and there will be 40,000 extra people in town, and it will be a huge cluster F*ck everywhere! I'm secretly hoping my babysitter falls through!

I used a self tanner last night (wipes) and low and behold I am streaky today on my legs. I should have known better.

Other than a book from DS, I still haven't gotten DH a father's day present.

I cancelled my WW membership because I never tracked anymore. I jumped on the scale today and I am still losing...even though I ate a whole bag of Hershey's Drops in the past 2 days. But other than that I have been good Angel

DH and I are going to dinner and a movie tomorrow to celebrate our anniversary, so we are getting a sitter, but I'd much rather get the sitter and then go to a hotel and sleep the 5 hours we'll be gone.

Do you live in Duluth? I think Grandma's is going on this weekend... have fun with that!!

My FFFC: DD and I are going out of town this weekend to visit my family. I'm really sad that DH won't spend his first father's day with DD, but FINALLY I get to spend a small holiday with my family. Other than Thanksgiving and Christmas, I haven't been home for a holiday since I was in college. FIL is kind of bummed but F it! He gets to see her all the time and we were in town through all the holidays last winter.

A fellow mom friend and I were supposed to get together and have a girls night. She texted this morning and cancelled because her LO kept her up all night.

Even though she's a good friend of mine, I was more than relieved because after working all week + driving an hour each way every day + packing to move, I had no energy to be social and really was only looking forward to the margaritas! Angel

I'm really bad about that too. It's such a pain.

My FFFC is: LO is napping and instead of doing something productive like cleaning my bathrooms or continuing my neverending quest to declutter my house, I'm on TB and watching Dallas.

I asked DH to start going to the baby when she wakes in the middle of the night so that he can attempt to soothe her before I just immediately offer the boob. I'm pretty sure he's never going to be able to soothe her, but I'm going to keep letting him get up because when she cries and I get up and he keeps snoring it makes me stabby

I bought DS this little mini baby "swimming pool" (really it's more of just a splash area) but really the main reason (other than LO loves to play in water) was so that I could have an excuse to sit outside in my swimsuit and soak up some sun before we head to the beach in a few weeks. I'm freaking pale!!

Another one: I'm so looking forward to seeing Rock of Ages. It looks so cheesy and wonderful, and while I'm not really a Tom Cruise fan post-crazy, he looks brilliant as an aging 80s rocker.

This, but for Magic Mike. I am not into Channing Tatum, but I get ridiculously excited anytime I see a preview for Magic Mike on TV. I really like when Matthew McConaughey says "I see a lot of lawbreakers in here!" *squee!*

Agree that Tom Cruise looks awesome in Rock of Ages, but if I only get out to see 1 movie anytime soon, it'll be Magic Mike.

*hangs head in slightly embarrassed shame*

Oh, and another confession I feel guilty about:

DH got a thank you basket thing delivered to the house from work and I was so excited I called and told him. I feel really bad about it....I wish I had waited and let him have the surprise when he got home.

I saw the stage show and it was really good and so much fun. I can't wait to see the movie. I don't like Tom Cruise IRL, but I like him as an actor.

This is the closest to mine. I'm already far beyond stabby. I surrender. I have tried and tried to get DH to pay more attention to LO, especially because he has such crazy work hours. A few days ago she went completely bonkers on him like she didn't even know who he was when he was trying to hold her and I'm just letting it play itself out. I can't even remember the last time a diaper was changed, a bath given or a meal fed by someone other than myself, let alone all the wake-ups.

Sorry, this turned into way more of a vent, but my FFFC is that I'm done forcing it.
