What were your symptoms after ER?

I know there's discomfort but what/how did you feel after ER?

    After ER I felt fine overall, just sore and uncomfortable when moving around. I went to work the next day and was fine. However, I have only had 4 eggs retrieved both times and I have read from other ladies here that the more eggs retrieved the greater the discomfort. I do not know how true that is or not, but I figure it varies from person to person.

    IVF with ICSI #1: ER 12/16 (4 ER/3 Mature/0 Fertilized) 
    IVF with ICSI #2: ER 5/17 (4 ER/4 Mature/3 Fertilized)/ET 5/20 (2 embryos transferred)-BFN 
    IVF with PICSI #3: ER 9/8 (11 ER/8 Mature/7 Fertilized)/ET 9/13 (2 AA blastocysts transferred) 
    Beta#1, 9/26/12: 719 Beta#2, 9/28/12: 1,436 Beta#3, 10/1/12: 3,446
    1st u/s on 10/10/12: It's Twins! We found out on 12/16/12 that we were having two BOYS!
    C & D were born on 5/16/13 at 10:46 am and 10:47 am

    I expected to come home and sleep all day due to being groggy from anasthesia, but I felt totally normal...like I had a nice nap.  I was crampy, but nothing too crazy.  A had a couple of moments where the pains were slightly more intense.  I didn't take any Tylenol or anything as it wasn't bothersome.
    3 ectopic pregnancies (EDD's 1/30/12-tube removed, 6/2/12-methotrexate and 10/2/12-methotrexate)
    IVF and Natural FET resulted in BFN's and a hole in our wallets
    Natural BFP #4 on 9/7/12 gave us our miracle on 5/18/13

    It's one day after ER and here's what I've got:

    -bloat. Thank goodness for the "fat jeans" which are barely buttoning. I will be wearing this pair at least 2-3 times between washes

    -gas. Didn't have this the last time. But extremely unladylike gas. Like keep small children and animals away type 

    -heartburn. Not sure if this is at all related but rarely get this.

    Have you already started taking Estrace or progesterone? If so, it is possible that those things are contributing to the way you are feeling.

    I was very sore & bloated (couldn't wear any of my clothes).  I couldn't walk without pain until morning of ET (5dt).  I had a case of OHSS... it was tough.  I hope this cycle is a bit easier on me! 
    Started TTC in 2001

    C.o.n.s.t.i.p.a.t.e.d. in a real way.  Which added to the general pelvic discomfort and serious bloat.  I was also just really tired for a couple of days.
    Me: 31 DH: 30
    Dx DOR (AMH .49), Stage 3/4 Endo, Septate Uterus
    After 2 years, numerous tests, abdonimal surgery, and 2 IVF cycles, we are so grateful to be expecting.
    Transferred 2 "perfect" 8-cell embies 6/12. Beta 1 6/25: 472! Beta 2 6/27: 1055!
    First u/s shows TRIPLETS! WHAT?!?! Both embies stuck and one split. OMG

    Levi, Henry, and Amelia were born healthy at 34w3d.

    Ugh! I am so sorry you are feeling so uncomfortable and I hope it gets better for you quickly.

    I felt awful too, snarly. It lasted for four or five days. Hope you feel better soon.

    DX: Unexplained/??? MFI issues

    Our lil' lost sparks:
    5w3d loss 7/30/10 - EDD March 2011
    8w loss 4/15/11 - EDD November 2011
    8w3d loss 8/2/12 - EDD March 2013
    4w c/p loss 10/29/12 - EDD July 2013

    Long story: trying on our own + testing testing testing with 6 rounds of Clomid, more testing, injectables + TI, laparoscopy - one tube blocked, 2 IUIs with Follistim...BFNs.
    RPL testing all normal, Karyotyping normal

    Moving on to IVF.

    IVF #1 April 2012 = BFN, IVF #2 June 2012 = BFP. U/S 7/23 = saw heartbeat but measuring behind. Follow up U/S on 7/30 - no heartbeat. D&C 8/2. Trisomy 12. IVF #3 Oct 2012 = Chemical Pregnancy

    Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
    IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!!
    FET 5/31/13 of 1 4AA blast - thawed and expanded. 4dp5dt BFP.
    Beta 9dp5dt = 181, 11dp5dt = 427. 1st u/s showed a healthy heartbeat! EDD 2/16/14

    After 4 years of hoping and heartbreak, our sweet little bean was born on 2/19/14
    We are so in love with her.

    Same with me! I had three eggs retrieved and felt fine little to no pain or cramping after. I slet all day though the medicine made me super sleepy and i took te next day off but prob could of gone to work!

    Shared cycle..Donor cycled in July Got 12 eggs 9 fertilized and 8 frozen!!
    DE FET #1 Sept. 3rd 2013 FIRST BFP EVER 5dp5dt
    miscarried Sept 24th at 5 weeks 5 days
    Etopic  D&C and hysterscopy Nov 5 2013
    dx with pre genetic blood clotting dec 2013
    FET #2 Jan 31st  2014 
    Miscarried for a second time again at 5 weeks 5 days
    Currently fostering to adopt an amazing little 1 year old boy..P.J!
    FET#3  is Oct 29th 2014
    BFN on fet #3
    Last and FINAL FET coming JAN 28th 2015

    I had OHSS, but overall bloating, bad constipation and it was so painful, nausea and vomiting. My RE told me he had never seen anyone react the way that I did, I think it was reaction to my E2 levels being so high combined with the HCG injection.

    I've been pretty miserable. Severe bloating, gas, and constipation, all which seem to be getting better this morning (2 days out). I am also having some pain, especially when I move. I've been taking ES Tylenol but its really not doing much. I'm moving extremely slowly. I feel like such a whiner! Luckily I am off work until Sunday so hopefully I feel better then!

    I had a few moments of yucko pain in there, but overall I'd say uncomfortable. I'm still a little uncomfortable today but better than yesterday and WAY better than how I felt after my D&C last year. I was out of commission for almost a week with that. I started the Colace yesterday to try to help with constipation in advance, but I'm definitely still a little uncomfortable in that department too. I don't think it would be comfortable to go right now anyway! I'm still bloated but I've been that way since about day 8 or 9 of stims. We can just keep telling ourselves it's for a good cause! :)

    Very sore! And on codeine for pain- they had to go through my abdomen to retrieve my eggs because my ovaries were in weird places.
