Father's Day

Hi Ladies,

Many of you shared great Father's Day ideas a couple of weeks ago.  Just wanted to throw this out again to see what other ideas surface.  I am still carrying our little guy but we know we will lose him very shortly after he's born.  He's our first so it's Daddy's first Father's Day.  It's been a crazy past month and a half and the holiday snuck up on me!  It will help to hear what you guys are doing. 

 I think my job is to celebrate all the amazing ways he's being a father to our little guy.  Maybe I could write a sort of thank-you note from our little guy.  Something tangible that will help him remember our time with our little nugget would be good, too.  I'll keep thinking.

    That is awesome and inspiring!!!  I think it's great that you are getting away to celebrate him and spend time together.  That's beautiful.  We just got back from a whirlwind of travel to see both our families so a weekend in town sounds good to both of us I think.  I'll try to come up with something special to do though, like maybe visit a place in town we went to when we were dating.

    OK you inspired me.  I got us tix to see a baseball game in town next week, which are generally hard to get / a cool historic stadium.  We haven't gone together yet (it's been on the to-do list!) AND he gets to bring our kiddo to a game to see his favorite team.  I think this will be pretty awesome.  It will also celebrate time with our kiddo, which is precious to us right now.  We can figure out something for Sunday based on what he feels like doing.
