I've been SWAMPED at work recently, so I'm sorry I've been MIA.

Alex had tubes put in yesterday. Boy was he mad when he came to, but then after his morning nap he was a happy little boy.

Glad he is feeling better. Just curious if you don't mind sharing. How many ear infections did he have and in what time period? Did he not respond to antibiotics or need more anitobiotics to make them go away?

We are getting close to tubes, I think, if my little guy gets another infection =(

Not to hijack... but we had 6 since December and had tubes 3 weeks ago. We tried all 4 different types of antibiotics... no help. Good luck! Tubes have been awesome!

He had 5 Since January. He responded to Omniceft and Augmentin, but they still believed that he would get more if he didn't get tubes.

He had 5 Since January. He responded to Omniceft and Augmentin, but they still believed that he would get more if he didn't get tubes.

My lo has had 4, 2 of them required another round of antibiotics to clear them since January. So 4 or 6 depending on how you look at it. He was okay for a couple of days after the last antibiotic then the fevers started again and took him in and it never cleared =(
