Hoping to get one more week in at least!

So I'm due July 9, but due to multiple issues from my first OB practice before switching to my MW the MW had agreed my date was the 9th, then one of the other MW's decided to get a 2nd opinion on my file went to an OB who said he refused to let them change my date. So as of today I'm *technically 36 weeks!* however, according to them... I'm only 34 and 2. I've been having contractions off and on the last 4 days, they have started becoming more consistent.

My MW today told me she needs me to lay low, try to not be to active and get to at least Sat so that way I can birth at my hospital and have an intervention free birth. If I can't make it till then I have to go somewhere else.. considered pre-term, constant monitoring/iv the whole 9! 
my MW is amazing and said she knows and trusts in my due date.. but she can't over ride the OB who said otherwise. I don't mean to sound whiny, I went at 37 weeks with #1 and ultimately I want this one to come as late as possible. 
When I went to my MW today (they had my appts a month apart so I called today and begged to be seen and checked) I am almost 2 and cervix is still posterior, but baby is very very low. 

Just looking for some positivity :) lol don't think that's a word :P

    Tough situation, but you should try to think positive, take is easy and try convincing your body it's not time yet. Hang in there !

    I'm confused, if you switched from an OB to a MW, can't the MW make the call on how far along you are?  Why does your former OB still have the final say in what your EDD is?

    my MW office has a backup ob, and he is the one who said stick with original ob's due date. which they based it on the early ultrasound, but when that ultrasound was done she had a hard time getting an accurate measurement on baby.she took over 8 measurements. and they ranged from 8-12 weeks. Although I was charting and had a specific conception day and had gotten a positive pregnancy test 2 days after he was *technically* conceived.
