Hi guys! This is a weekly check in for those of us on the board that are cycling with TI/IUI/Break Cycle. Non-IVF check in day will normally be Thursdays. I will be doing the check ins even though others have graciously offered to do it for me because- well because I am kind of OCD about wanting it done when I want it done. LOL It?s a small price to pay for not driving other people nuts!

FYI I stole much of this format from the IVF check in? lol If you would like to be added to the group please respond with the following:

I am T-minus six days until my beta (6/20) and am completely nuts! Every twinge is a sign and every second I don't have some kind of twinge I am sure that I am not pregnant... DH is full tilt crazy too, perhaps worse than I am. Until we have a beta he has grounded me to the house and i am supposed to be "resting" not doing anything- at all... he's so desperate for this to work that the other night when he should have been sleeping I felt like he was laying there awake and said as much and this is what he said: "You wanna know what I was doing? I was praying. I was praying for our baby." DH rarely if ever prays, though he firmly believes in God. I just laid there and said nothing because honestly I didn't know what to say... he wants this so badly...

I have cramped everyday since the IUI and the nurses said that was a good sign, but I had my progesterone check yesterday and it was only a 7 so I had to start on prometrium vaginally... and apparently I needed this check in to get some stuff off my chest!! LOL

QOTW: If you had to be stuck in a movie forever- which one would it be and why? I would probably want to be stuck in the movie "The Sweetest Thing" because there is nothing out of the ordinary really going on in it, it's basically just a story about three friends living a life and having funny things happen... for me that's much better than having to worry about magical creatures and such. Plus it's the only movie I know that has a song about a penis, which I find hilarious. LOL okay well GL!

Oh, and one last thing- I normally comment on your updates as you post them but I will busy today so if I post replies it will be off my phone so you'll have to excuse posting issues and if I can't find the time to do it then, then I will reply once I get home later... Thanks for understanding! GL (in case your counting that's a little bit of extra luck for you girls!)

You can move me to the waiting for CD1 group. I got a BFN on 14dpo. So, per doctors orders, I stopped the progesterone and now I am just waiting. We will have a CD3 baseline appt as soon as my cycle starts.

You can move me to the break cycle.

I had my baseline ultrasound to get things moving along for IUI #2 and instead we found that I have a big cyst on my right ovary. So now I'm on birth control pills and hoping and praying its gone for next cycle.

I also found out at my appointment that my RE wants to dive right on in with injectibles. I only did 100 mg of Clomid last cycle and I thought I had a good response. My lead follie was on the left side and there was another smaller one as well that "might" have had a chance to mature before but probably not. I thought that was a great response..anything on the left side was good to me! But what do I know?

So next round we'll keep the Clomid and add Menopur. I was initially dumbfounded that he was adding the menopur but now that its sunk in I'm actually excited...anything to up our chances is fine with me!

Hi ladies!

I am currently 6 dpo and feeling pretty good so far. It's strange but I haven't felt as bloated or crampy as I did last cycle on the meds. Hopefully that is a good thing.

QOTW: If I were stuck in a movie forever I think I would pick something that is really funny so I was constantly laughing. Dumb and Dumber would be a good one and such a classic!

I'm praying that this is your cycle LC! 6 days seems like an eternity but trust me it will go by fast! Your DH sounds so sweet too about the whole thing. Let us know after you test.

I'm sorry about the cysts and having to do a break cycle. Those always suck! I hope that adding the Menopur with your Clomid helps.

Our karyotype results came back normal for both of us, so that's good. Also D3esika got her BFP, but she didn't have doubling betas, and I think she went on to m/c.

I've got 5 more days of bcps then hopefully I can move on to treatment cycle #6. I think we've decided since DH's counts are so good (150+mil post wash), we're going to forego IUI #3 and try TI again. I've had c/p's with every ovulatory cycle, including the TI cycle, and I'm pretty sure I'm switching from Clomid+Menopur to Menopur-only so the Clomid won't be there to interfere with my CM.

QOTW: My first reaction was Harry Potter, but only if I'm a Gryffindor. But good point about the normal thing. If I'm going normal, I'd say "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" because it's my favorite movie, and I'd get to live in Hawaii and be friends with Mila Kunis.

Well as much as a cust sucks, it looks like you are going to have a great plan for as soon as it goes away. I hope things work themselves out quickly for you! GL

I love that you picked something magical to start with and I also loved forgetting sarah marshall. True story, my DH and I saw it like opening night in theater and when he drops his towel and have a full frontal shot i thought my DH was going to loose it. We were both caught so off guard! lol GL
