My kiddo just found a hidden sippy ...

of milk from probably two days ago. And he took a big swig before I could tackle him and wrestle it out of his hands.

Ick!

  • Ewwww...I see that happening to her too. She hides things all over the place--and it has been a few days before we are able to locate some of them.

  • That's so disgusting.
Almond milk doesn't stink as fast as cow's milk. That's like the only good thing about Abigail's dairy allergy.

    In slow motion, right?

    "Noooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!"

    Always too late.

I found one downstairs that had been there for awhile.  Then DH said. . . "Yeah. That's been there for awhile. I couldn't bring myself to deal with it."  What the WHAT?  So you just left a sippy of milk in the play area BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T WANT TO DEAL?

    GRRRRRR.

  • Gross.

  • This has happened to us more times then I would like to admit.  I think my child enjoys rotten milk and does it on purpose.

  • Gross, the fear of this is why I never let DS have milk anywhere but at the table.

  • Blech.  Can you switch to only having milk at mealtimes and filling it with water the rest of the time?  Although a swig of old standing water isn't THAT much better.
  • I found an old sippy once and wasnt sure what was in it. I did know that I hadn't seen said sippy for quite some time so I tossed it instead of taking a chance of puking when I opened it

  • I really try to make a point to get DS's sippy cup when he is done, but lately, he has been hiding them.  I have to watch him like a hawk when I see the cup is almost empty.

One day I swore I had put the cup in his diaper bag, but could not find it.  It ended up falling out of the bag and under the seat.  The next morning when we went to the car, he grabbed it and took a drink.  I felt horrible.
