How do you strip your cloth diapers?

DD babysitter gave her food that I did not approve and she had horrible potty problems.  Poo so bad it left blisters.  I had to put Boudruex's Butt Paste on her.  Well I use cloth diapers, so now what?  How should I strip them to make sure they are okay when this whole episode is finished? Thanks!!

    This link has all sorts of info on different ways to strip. I usually just go the blue dawn dish soup route and rinse a million times.

    I strip with blue dawn as well, but when I had bad repelling a while back (from hard water deposits), I also boiled all my inserts with calgon in the water after the dawn strip.

    I was our cloth diapers in RLR approx once a month

    Only thing that gets all our stinky out every few months it's a bleach wash and then A ton of  rinses......like 10 .

    all the previous suggestions work well.  if u use a liner even a cloth wipe when u r using tht butt paste it will protect your diapers.

    I strip everything with 1tbspn blue dawn and bleach the inserts only (I do two separate washes - one for shells, one for inserts). Then rinse, rinse, rinse!

    Thank you ladies!  I do not know why I didn't think to lay down a cloth wipe to protect them. Probably because LO was screaming at the diaper changings from the horrible blisters! I am so happy that was her last day with babysitters and I am home with her for the summer.
