Trying to decide on a carseat/Stroller. Which one are you going with? If you are having a girl-- and know that you are going to try to have another child within 2 years--- would you go for a neutral design/color just in case?
We got the Chicco Keyfit 30 in a neutral color. We obviously haven't used it yet but I've heard great things from other parents, and it was pretty easy to install.
We are team green so we got a neutral car seat. I'd definitely go that way if you plan on other kids.
Also, travel systems tend to be very bulky so IMO they are not a good way to go. We did a Chicco Keyfit 30 with a basic snap n go frame and then we put it in the Bob Revolution w infant bar for longer walks. DD also started using a neutral MacLaren umbrella stroller for quick trips around 6 mos or so.

We got a neutral color for two reasons: we might have another child (within 5 years, before the carseat is expired) and I don't like most girly designs anyway.
Edit: For some reason, I thought I was on the Nurseries and Baby Gear board. Not that it really matters!
We skipped the ugly (imo) travel system and just got a Bumbleride Indie. It worked with our car seat (Graco Snugride) if we chose to use that function, but we rarely did. It reclines nearly fully so we could just lay DS in there from the start. When DD came along we got the Indie Twin without even considering another brand - I seriously love the Bumblerides!

We got the Chicco Travel system the first time in a neutral color.
I wish we had just gotten the car seat, and purchased the Baby Jogger City Mini along with a snap n go stroller for the car seat instead. That travel system stroller is way too cumbersome and you'll wind up buying a different stroller eventually anyways.
Our Chicco Keyfit will soon be on kid #3, and I still think it's great and feels totally safe. Glad we got a neutral pattern (a basic dark grey w/ green) since we ended up having a girl & then boy. No way I was buying a new travel system!

We went neutral for more than one reason. We are team green and plan on having another child. We went with the Chicco Keyfit 30 in "Adventure" and the Snap n' go stroller. We didn't want a clunky stroller to haul around especially where we live in the winter we get lots of snow so we won't use it much. Got it in the mail Tuesday and its wonderful. Colors are beautiful and looks very sturdy!
I loved my Graco travel system the first time so we invested in another one this time. This time we went ahead and got two bases though so we won't have to move the base around between my car and my husbands. The last time I had pink everything because of my family. This time, my husband and I chose brown and light pink. We are not planning on another baby though. Together we have 4 kiddos and that is enough for us.

If you plan on having more soon, I would stick with gender neutral.
Us too--we bought it in black, and I love it!
Yes, go neutral on the stroller.

travel systems are way to big and bulky. DH and I decided to just get the infant carrier (graco snugride 30) and a frame stroller in which it fits in.
Then we also purchased a mclaren (used off of cl for $40, yay) and that will be our main stroller after DS is in a regular car seat.
Our concern was mostly weight and bulkyness. We tried to go light weight.
We may get a bob or something equivalent, but we don't know if we will.
Good luck. We did all natural colors / prints.
