Since our crazy LO's haven't been mentioned much in the past day or so let's share some cute/funny/gross things they've done recently.

I brought out a doll that I used to take to work in my "nanny bag". The doll looks kind of like a human baby. Every time our daughter and the doll sit up facing each other our daughter chats and squeals more than she chats any other time.
Right?!
I tried to give Charlotte some chicken for dinner. I mixed it with broccoli to help make it taste better. She apparently didn't agree with me and proceeded to throw it up all over me. What a lovely way to end the day.
And can I just say, I love the outfit your LO is wearing in your siggy picture. Adorable.

B has been in THE BEST moods when he wakes up in the mornings. Instead of waking up and crying because he's hungry/wants to get up he just hangs out in his crib and talks to himself. He'll start squeeling and laughing. It seriously makes my day.
He has also become much more dependent on the pacifier lately and that really bothers me. But he doesn't really sleep that well at night right now so there is no way I am going to start weaning him of it now. It just bothers me because he used to only really want it for when he was falling asleep, now he almost always wants it.

Sorry she didn't like the chicken, I am really hoping DS does once we let him try it. We eat chicken quite a bit and it would be great if he liked it too.
Oh and thanks, a coworker of mine started making baby clothes and she needed a baby to model them for her website so B did it. They turned out really well and I love the clothes.
I think E is finally adjusting to the time change and her new home in Scotland!!!!

I can't imagine how rough it must have been to get a baby adjusted to such a big time change. Good job, mama!
Fastest year of my life.
My baby girl pooped during her nap in her crib and it was explosive. Bath #1 of the day. A few hours later, I was feeding her apples and she projectile vomited everywhere! Bath #2 of the day. Thank goodness my husband is home today and able to help.
On a brighter note, she is starting to give kisses! Open mouthed and slobbery of course bit adorable!
I seriously CAN'T wait for this to happen! I see my nephew doing it to my SIL and it's so cute!
I feel like our whole world revolves around teething and the accompanying congestion right now.
On a cute note though, it's been great on our visit home that she smiles at everyone! I feel like its made the people she meets feel very special and I'm glad they (and I) will have these special memories since she will be turning a year old the next time they see her in person.
BFP #2 - MC Aug 2012 - D&C w/ complications
I got DS all dressed for the pool with his little swimshorts, rash guard, hat, sunglasses, sun block, and swim diaper....all to have him fall asleep the entire time. He stayed inside bc we were at my friends house so it was nice to sun bathe alone with friends (some cocktails would have been better but I was driving) On the way home he peed and that swim diaper didn't hold anything back. He was soaking wet when I got home :

At least you got to relax for a little while! What kind of swim diaper did you use? We bought some of the Huggies Little Swimmers, hope it wasn't this kind!
No, they were pampers. I looked at both Huggies and pampers. I decided on pampers bc that's what we use at home and it used the normal sizing like 3&4. I hope it was just an accident and not a regular occurance. We've had very few leaks and blowouts. Knock on wood!! I should have changed him into a regular diaper before I left but I was trying to beat traffic home.

I thought the point of swim diapers was to just catch poo and let the pee through, otherwise they would just fill up with pool/ocean water. Maybe I'm wrong though because I haven't actually used one yet.
BFP #2 - MC Aug 2012 - D&C w/ complications
Oh man, I have so many! Today was a day of so many firsts.
Woke up this morning to find E's first tooth peeking at me from his gummy smile.
He also spent his first-ever day in day care while I spend one day a week volunteering at a museum to keep my foot in door. He did so well!
The day care ladies said that he flipped over onto his belly for both naps. He has NEVER done that before!
If this is true I feel like an idiot!!

Yay! That's a big adjustment and definitely worth celebrating.
Adrian has recently discovered that his voice can do more than just coo and cry. He's added yelling to the list. We've started calling him pterodactyl baby.

Success After Losses. I carry your
Awesome: Lucas now fully sits on his own leaving some mama time for chores. He also is so in love with his daddy it melts my heart. I also love how he raises his eyebrows.
Not awesome: sleep. As usual. He is again teething. I think. 3 nights in a row he has been awake every 45 minutes all night crying even with Tylenol. Poor guy. Poor mama.
My DS does this too! He will literally dive at any bottle in sight, it's so cute! He holds his own bottle for the first few ounces and then he gets tired. Yesterday he was trying to hold it with one hand and play in his hair with the other! I need him to slow down with the growing up so quickly!
