has anyone else experienced this? (cramps & wet)

Last night I felt wet like I had started my period, I went to pee, wiped & there was no blood. Today I still feel that way & I'm having period like cramps on & off. I'm 38 weeks & 1 day. I googled the symptoms and came up with some women saying their OBGYN said it was normal and your body is just preparing and others saying that was labor for them?

    I've chalked it up to prep, and it never crossed my mind that it was labor. Not enough pain. Wink

    I have experienced the same thing! I'm a first time mom, so I'm not exactly sure, but I thought that discharge increases near the end, so I'm thinking that it is normal. I'm 38 weeks 3 days. Good luck!

    I've had that for about three days. I keep WAITING for something to happen, but I think its just prelabor stuff.

    discharge increases towards the end, happened with me this time and both the other times too.

    I've been told it's very early labor (could last weeks) I've been having cramps for three days now, isn't it fun?!

    Me too. I cant believe how much discharge I have. Ive had cramps and contractions on and off.

    update:
    my husband said "lets just go to the hospital just to be sure" I on the other hand was being stubborn and said I didn't want to go and it turn out to be nothing. 

    We went and i am having contractions, dilated to a 2. The nurse called my midwife and she said since we live like 2 miles away to take tylenol, a warm bath and go to bed. 

    I was told to time contractions & that it may be tonight, tomorrow, or i could even go past my due date being a FTM.
