please tell me this is not true. I am almost 3 months pp. I have had one period since giving birth and I was due for my period yesterday and it never came. I am realllllllly hoping that periods are just irregular after giving birth?
There isnt really being "more fertile" you ovulate an egg, then two weeks later get your period. Being "more fertile" would imply your ovulating more often, or a lot of eggs or something. I would say though that since you are 3mo PP you just may not be back on a regular cycle yet. Wait a few days, if you're worried, test.
The moment a child is born,
the mother is also born.
She never existed before.
The woman existed, but the mother, never.
A mother is something absolutely new.
Your periods could be just trying to regulate. While I was breastfeeding with DD I got my period once than it was two months before I got it again and then I got it again in the same month. However if you are worried that you might be pregnant again just go out and get a test and test.
Before DS1, my periods were extremely regular. I was AF free for 8mo after he was born, and they were not very regular after that. I started keep track on an app to figure it out since it was not as regular as before. As for being more fertile, lets just say that we TTC for a year with DS1, and only for two months with DS2. Hope you don't have to POAS! Wait another week before your freak out, ok?
