I'm only 5 lbs away from my pre-preggo weight and since I was a tad over weight going into the pregnancy, I want to loss another 10ish on top of that. I feel like the weight is melting off, thank you breastfeeding!, but this kangaroo pouch of floppy skin is is plaguing me. I know I am only 2.5 weeks pp but I'm looking towards the future! How do you plan (or how did you with your first LO) to get rid of the pouch?
Re: Getting rid of the kangaroo pouch...
Time, every time I lost the pouch around six months and it got better over time with some exercise and healthy eating.
I lost 25 lbs my first 2 weeks, not BFing, and I have not lost anything since then. But, each week my flab is getting tighter and tighter over my c/s incision. I still have my pre-pregnancy weight I would like to lose once I am cleared to work out. But things are much firmer than they were 2 weeks ago.
My /Chart; BFP 3/8/11 CP 3/16/11; 7/11 HSG & S/A both clear;

I'm doing weight watchers and walking 1 mile in the morning and 1 mile in the evening. Once I get the go ahead next week at my 6 wk pp appt, I'm going to start doing the 30 day shred.
I'm 3 lbs from pre-preg weight and have the pouch as well. I put on about 10 lbs last summer prior to getting pregnant so I want to loose that too. Hopefully doing more excercise will work.
I was doing yoga 6 days a week before getting pregnant, and plan to go back to that schedule eventually. Plus running on the treadmill a few days a week.
I'm not rushing it... probably it will take 1-2 years to get my old tummy back. But it did happen after DD1, so I have faith it will happen again.
I was a single mom with my DD so between working, taking care of DD, and not having a lot of time to eat junk it melted off.
Now this time I know I will have to work at it harder. I got the clear from my OB to exercise today at my 6 week pp appt. I am going to start with walking with the baby in the stroller and then hopefully move up to running to help get the extra weight off. I would like to join a gym but I really don't know if I will have time between work and my 2 kids.
