We are having LO's party on a Sunday from 2-4. I have no idea what to do for food. I am not serving a meal. I want to do a few finger foods and keep it simple. We will have 50-60 people ( we have a big family).
I like the ideas that were already suggested. FWIW-Do you plan on kicking everyone out at 4? In my experience, people always hang around these things FAR longer than the invitation says they should.

Yeah good point, especially if it is family- they won't be too quick to leave!
A lot of places have affordable catering! I didn't know that until another Bumpie told me that you could have a really nice spread from Moe's Southwest Grill for like $6-10/ person.

Here a dip recipe that everyone loves at our parties (its super easy)
BLT dip:
1c mayo
1c sour cream
1 lb bacon crumbled
2 small-med tomatoes diced
4 scallions chopped
1c of mild cheddar cheese shredded.
Mix all together, add some s&p for taste, I serve with wheat thins. It goes fast! Its also a great refreshing summer dip.
