daycare teacher gift ??

I'm a teacher and Friday will be my son's last day of daycare until September. On my way home, I got gift cards for the 3 teachers at the center. When I got to the center to pick him up, I was introduced to a new teacher.

Should I get her something? I'm thinking "no" but then will feel a little weird leaving her out when I drop off gifts Friday.

No, you don't need to get her anything... you just met her!

No. The hard thing would be giving the others' theirs if she is around but you can figure out a way around that hopefully.

This totally reminds me of the episode of friends when Ross just moved into his new apartment and the other residents were throwing a big party for the janitor becasue he was retiring. THey wanted Ross to throw in 50 bucks, even though he had just moved into the building and handn't even met the guy. Ross said no.

So, I wouldn't worry about it.
