I'd think it was a typo if it was spelled Zachery.

I had a student last year, and his name was spelled Zachery. I spelled it wrong every.single.time. Go with Zachary.

As horrible as it is, I think Xakery is better than Zachery, if only because the latter will be perceived as a typo and/or the parents' inability to spell for his entire life.

That's what I said but my friend is trying to convince me otherwise. I'm sticking with Zachary.

Definitely go with Zachary. If you are going to spell it different I think Zackary would be a bit more acceptable. (not that I like it that way either)
