Wish I wasn't working until the end

I'm literally sitting here with mild contractions on ALL day conference calls and my boss keeps assigning me things to do.  Even if I'm not actually going into labor now, my last day is supposed to be tomorrow.  I still have a TON of things to tie up and I really don't have time to be working on new things. 

Sorry for the vent, just trying not to kill anyone at work.

    I'm surprised that your boss is still assigning you things :(

    Not as far along as you but my Due Date is the 24th my last day is technically the 29th (because that's actually when my contract with this client was ending anyway)

    While I still have some work, I am mainly wasting time and the hour drive to and from doesn't help any.  I feel for you!!

    I feel your pain!  We're slammed here at work and i'm trying to work on assigning my clients to others, and my clients are trying to get in last minute requests before i go on leave.  I'm working all next week and the work isn't slowing down!  Sigh...

    Still working. Been contracting and for some reason people keep coming up to me giving me new projects.....sigh......

    Same here!  Trying to tie up loose ends on so many projects that I can't seem to even get to because other people keep asking for help with last-minute requests!  It's maddening!  I'm beginning to think I'll make next Tuesday my last day, even if baby hasn't made an appearance yet.

    I am working up until the end, with no "last day"...that will be when I go into labor. I know I am a little over a week early, but want this baby to come just so work can end!

    My issue is just lack of motivation, and difficulty concentrating...and I don't even have any contractions yet!

    I'm sorry your boss is doing that to you. :( They definitely shouldn't be assigning new things at this point.

    I'm still working too but I'm in a different boat - my work hasn't been giving me much to work on at all lately so I am just sitting here bored out of my mind everyday. It beats sitting at home and waiting (and not being paid) but I am going nuts!

    I couldn't agree more. If I hadn't been on bed rest for 3 weeks, I would probably not come back to work next week because I'm so uncomfortable and irritable. But using up 3 weeks of leave has pretty much made it so that I am here until the very end, with no "last day." In fact, I've almost cried about it several times today. I'm a hot mess.

    Same here.My C Section is scheduled for this Monday and my last day at work is tomorrow on Friday. They keep piling new projects on me when there is no way I will get them done by tomorrow. Contractions are getting more and more intense with all this stress.I keep telling myself I just have to make it through tomorrow.....
