Sudden drooling at 10 Months?

My LO has 6 teeth and got them all with virtually none of the common drooling symptom... now, at 10 months he woke up this morning after suffering a high fever all day yesterday (due to vaccines) and is drooling like crazy.

Think its teething? Or somehow related to yesterdays fever?

I actually noticed a canker sore on his tongue! I suppose that could certainly be the cause for drooling and discomfort!

I'm sorry if this makes you freak out, but .... hand, foot, and mouth often starts with a fever and then sores appear in the mouth.  I would contact your pedi just in case.  I hope that's not what it is though!

It is Hand Foot Mouth! We just got back from the pedi. I'm so sad for him and his discomfort but the pedi said it's common and it will go away on it's own. Luckily the fever is gone and the whole thing should be gone within 5 days. Wahh.
