What do you keep your cooking utensils in?

For our wedding, I received an oxo utensil set and it came in a little caddy thing that I keep next to the stove. Well it's gotten hit with a hot pan a couple times and after moving across country, it's gotten kind of beaten up. Its mostly a couple spatulas, spoons and a couple others I use on a regular basis, the other stuff stays in a drawer. What can I put my utensils in? Stupid I know but I haven't come across anything.

  • Everything goes in the drawer at my house, but antique crocks are always cute:

  • Kitchen drawer. I try and keep things out and on the counter to a minimum or I feel like an episode of hoarders. I do agree it can be cute though.

  • Google "utensil vase" and you will find a plethora of options.  Those wine bottle coosies can work, and appropriate size pitcher or other piece of pottery. Lots of options!

  • Someone gave us a marble wine chiller for our wedding and we have repurposed it into a utensil holder.  It occasionally actually gets put to it's intended use as well but works quite nicely as a spot for utensils.

  • We use a utensil holder too. I like it okay. I would do anything to be able to put them all in a drawer but we have a total of three drawers and they are stuffed.

    I hate my kitchen sometimes.

  • As you know since youve been to my house numerous times I keep some next to the stove in a ceramic thingy and some in a drawer

  • Currently they're in a drawer.  When we were tight on space they were hung up above the stove.   I loved it like that.

  • We have a utensil crock next to the stove. We don't have enough drawer space and I like having them available and visible while cooking.
