I am gonna have to hurt someone

Gggrrrr I swear to God I am about to become the phyco lady yelling at people from my yard if the a@@hats on my street don't stop it with the fireworks and fire crackers. They woke O up from her nap this afternoon..She was so scared when the one that woke her up went off and as I was rushing to comfort her another went off and she got scared again and she smashed face first into her crib trying to hide from the noise. Dear Lord we cannot move fast enough. Only about 45 days to go.

    wow!  you have some night owl neighbors.  i also hate it when my neighbors set off fireworks while the kids are sleeping.  but at least they haven't done it past 10pm thus far this year.

    You're a better woman than me.  I would've called the cops 2 hours before that.  My neighbors next door are like that and I've already warned MH I'd call if they start waking Max up.  Between the baby & the dog, the kid will be lucky I don't come to the street and stuff a firework in his nose. (there's more to the frustration than just fireworks, if you couldn't tell :))

    I would definately call the cops. In our town it's illegal to set them off after 10pm (I think). I need to check into that because our (2 houses down) have already started with them this year. A couple years ago my husband went out and yelled at them. They decided to retaliate and come down to our yard and throw firecrackers towards our house. Then I woke up to find a scratch on our car. We opted to let it go so there was no start of some sort of war, they seem like the type that would just continue to pull stunts no matter what we did, so we let it lie.

    Unfortunately the bolded is why I haven't called the cops. Our street is full of klassy people just waiting for a reason to start fights or do other random acts of stupidness (is that even a word)

    So I will just wait and every time something stupid gos down I look at DH and say "Quite street" And he knows I mean when we move we move it will be to nowhere like the area we live now.
