Adenoids?

My DD has been basically sick since she was 2 weeks old.  Always with a runny nose and cough... We have taken her to the pediatrician (they thought it was a milk allergy) an ENT (they couldn't find anything wrong) and finally to a leading hospital.  They did allergy testing and found nothing conclusive and then an Upper GI which revealed severe reflux which was weird because she has never had reflux symptoms.  Anyway, that still didn't explain the constant stuffy nose.  So my doctor got some other opinions and now they think the reflux has enlarged her adenoids.  Has anyone heard of this happening?  We are waiting to schedule xrays to confirm everything.  I am just so thankful we finally might have an answer... I would love to finally sleep at night.

    Wow!  I never heard of it but please keep us posted.  My DD has dark circles under eyes now.  I took her to the ped. today who said it's venal congestion..?  She has a bit of a runny nose but nothing major.  Occasional cough but not severe, so I can't understand the congestion.  

    What did the ENT test for?  Does your DD have dark circles?

    They finally did a neck xray and confirmed that her adenoids need to come out.  No dark circles but chronic cough and stuffy nose.  Praying that this surgery helps!
