None of that can indicate what will happen when. Sorry! On my due date I lost my mucus plug and had a ton of contractions. After that day it all just stopped and no matter how much walking, etc I do it isn't picking back up. I thought for sure being so far along it was the start of labor. And I was wrong.. There's just no way to know ahead of time.
we just went over this in our birth class last night... you just need to see when the contractions start to get longer, stronger and closer together...progress is key my class instructor said...if they are just staying the same..even if they are a few minutes apart that doesn't necessarily mean you are in labor...you can make a chart of the time each contraction starts, length of each contraction and then start tracking the time in between each contraction. Usually you want to go to the hospital when they are 5 minutes apart, lasting for 1 minute each for an hour...but they should have progressed to that point.
Re: Dilated to 2 and having constant contractions 45 mins apart!
I've been dilated to 2 for the past month and have been having contractions for the past 9 days. Lots of contractions...
Who knows when something real is going to happen...
i had contractions every 5-10 minutes for 2 weeks before having him. ... 6 days late.
just wait til they hurt & you cant walk or talk or look at anyone in the eye because you will pierce them with your brain hate. then youll know
