What is your favorite brand of Mei tai?  I am thinking about doing a custom BabyHawk.  Does anyone have it in Cherry Blossoms Plum?  If so, want to share a picture?  Is it worth it to pay $10 for a pocket?  TIA!

    We got a custom BH (not cherry blossom, though). We paid for extra long straps (I highly recommend if your DH will be using it), a toy ring and a pocket.

    I've used the pocket maybe twice. It's a great idea, but we just haven't used it. We've only used the toy ring a handful of times. I could take it or leave it. 

    ETA: I don't know about your DH, but mine would not wear the BH if I would've gotten a floral pattern. And it would've sucked because he loves wearing DS and has been able to give me some good time to myself. I had to order one that was "manly" enough for him, but still cool enough for me to wear. We got the olive straps with the Retro Tattoo on Tea pattern. It makes DS look pretty bada$$. Wink

    I have a basic Baby Hawk and love it. I use these to attache toys to the straps for my LO.

    I was afraid to try a MT and when I did...LOVE!

    I actually ordered a custom from ZooZoos Closet (WAHM) and she was amazing to work with and totally affordable :)

    PCOS Clomid x 4 = BFN Met, Femara, Trigger x3 = BFP! EDD: May 18, 2011 Baby Boy born May 13, 2011 via emergency C section Our Friday the 13th miracle!

    I did a custom, but not in that pattern.  I got it with 2 sides, one girly and one gender neutral with DD (thank goodness, bc now we're having a boy!), and I got both sides with pockets.  I liked the pockets bc I was able to keep one of those sample packs of wipes(with like, 5 wipes in it) and a couple diapers in there.
    BFP #1: m/c at 8 weeks; BFP #2: DD born 6/9/09; BFP #3 m/c at 5 weeks; BFP #4 m/c at 8 weeks, D&E; BFP #5 DS born 8/12/12

    I didn't do a custom, because there was a readymade with fabric I loved (feeling groovy).  I'm a huge fan of my Babyhawk!

    I wound up buying a used BabyHawk from a local girl.  I tried it with DD2 and then tried it with DD1.  I am loving it!  The best thing is that the used carrier has 1 pocket and also the toy attachment ring for at least half the cost of a new one.  I think it will get a lot of use!

    One thing I would like to add, I walk my baby every night at bedtime for about an hour around the neighborhood so the pocket comes in very handy! It's definitely one of the reasons I almost always choose to wear my baby hawk over my moby or maya
