Bleeding at 5 weeks PP?

Has anyone experienced bleeding bright red this late in the game?

It happened last weekend, so I laid low for a couple of days.  It seemed to stop, but this weekend it returned heavier than ever.  I have been lifting more things lately (ie 2.5 y/o, double stroller, etc).  There are no large clots.  I don't remember this with my first.

    I'm still having some of that at 11 weeks pp. I had an ultrasound last week to rule out any serious issues (none were found), and my OB said I was probably just overdoing it. It's really frustrating because I feel like I can't really be doing less right now with 2 small children to care for.

    It could be your period. Mine started on week 5 so my ob went ahead and got me started on bc again. I'm ff so it may be different for bf.
