Growth spurt or fluke?

So Monday morning at 12:30am LO starting nursing almost every hour for about 30 minutes at a time. I counted the feedings yesterday and I literally fed him 19 times in 24 hours! My question is...was that the 6 week growth spurt coming a week early? He's 5 weeks today. But he was delivered a week late so if you "adjust" his age he would be 6 weeks today. Do we "adjust" ahead for late babies the same way we adjust back for Premie babies? The weird thing is he seems to be back to normal today so if that was a growth spurt it only lasted a day. How many days are growth spurts supposed to last? And do you guys think this was one? TIA all :)

    Babies grow and adjust at different stages. At 5w, it could easily be the 6w growth spurt. It lasts a few days. Just a heads up, everytime they have a growth spurt, you'll end up slightly engorged when it's over.
