Re: bedding too "boy"?

  • I can see why your mom may think it is boyish, but I think it could work for both. I'm not sure if I would want to use it for a girl, but its cute!

  • I think it looks boyish, but I have  a very hard time looking at anything as gender neutral.
  • Ooo I liked that one too. I think it is too "boy" though.  Sorry.

  • Yeah, it's probably a little on the boy side. It's SO cute though. I absolutely love it! There's a somewhat similar one with monkeys at BRU. I think it's called "Pop Monkey". It's a little more neutral, if you're interested.

  • thanks all! I appreciate your input...and now I agree it is more boy. But man I love it!
  • It would be so cute for a boy.  I can see it being a bit gender neutral, but for the most part it is masculine.

  • We're having a boy and this was my 1st choice bedding but I can't buy it in store anywhere and I have a hard time reasoning online shopping unless I can easily return it.  But I love love love this bedding and it got great reviews....I may still buy it.  Who knows.

I know that you'll want to get the bedroom done, but knowing my DD didn't even go in her room for the 1st 2 months of being home...why don't you wait and see what you have? And just paint a neutral color for now and skip buying the bedding? If you love this bedding i'd hate for you to just buy something more neutral just to find out all along it was a boy.
