Pulling Cords out of Walls...HELP!

My son has discovered the oh-so-fun activity of pulling cords out of outlets...and it's freaking me out! He gets told a stern NO whenever I see him trying, and I move him right away (and of course, I keep an eye on him and try to keep him away from them at all times, but let's be realistic...he's a tricky ltitle kiddo! He knows when my back is turned lol). What can I do?? My friend says she's heard of some product that might help, but I don't know what it might be called.

I don't know what product that is, but I just covered up all our used outlets with furniture, or if that's not possible, I close the door to that room. It's not awesome, but it works.

we are in the same boat and there are several plugs we can't cover up or move like the phone cord that runs up the wall in the kitchen. it is exhausting constantly telling her "no" and sometimes doing it 8 - 10 times in a row. so many times i want to be lazy and give up but each time i do it, saying no, walking over to her, bending at her level and plugging it back in while saying "no touch". i feel like i am ALWAYS telling her no! but she is always doing things she shouldn't! lol

LO is not happy about a dark bedroom at night but that's our only option, and same as other poster, other items are covered by furniture . Good luck

They are called outlet protectors. I have them in my living room/dining room area because for awhile all my daughter wanted to do was unplug everything and then play with cords. I coupled the outlet covers with wire covers and now she doesn't even pay attention to them and I know she's safe if I have to step out of the room for a minute.

Ditto! My son loves pulling the plugs right out of the wall when we're playing a videogame. Bad baby! Bad! lol. I am definitely investing in some of those outlet covers. I am always so scared he is going to hurt himself!

I have something similar that I got from walmart in the baby section. These are in her room and I can hardly take the cover off so I know she definitely can't.

I got something very similar to these at Buy Buy Baby and they are a lifesaver. I highly recommend them.

My LO does this too. I found this great item at either Buy Buy Baby or Babies R Us. It is an outlet cover. It goes over your outlet with the items plugged in. Works great. You basically remove your wall plate, put this plate down and snap the cover over the plugs.
