Last week at the dr we couldn't see a baby in the sac, so they recommended I come back today for a second look just in case it was too early.
Unfortunately we couldn't find a heartbeat today either. This pregnancy is a blighted ovum where the body continues to grow the gestational sac and amniotic fluid. Your body still think you are growing a baby even though the embryo self eliminated due to chromosomal abnormalities.
My doctor said that as large as my sac is and as much fluid, etc that I have it would be better to schedule the surgery to remove any tissues rather than allow it happen naturally due to the amount of clotting I will face.
My appointment is tomorrow morning at 9:45
Please say prayers that everything goes smoothly. Thanks.

Re: Prayers please
I am so sorry. I had a blighted ovum before I had Allie. I waited 3 miserable weeks hoping my body would miscarry on it's own and it never did. I had to then have the d&c... so I think it's a good decision you're just getting it done with. I am thinking of you.
