Third Trimester Cheer!

I started my third trimester yesterday. So far, so good! I did start to have preterm contractions a week and a half ago and was given a shot at the hospital and monitored for a while to stop that. Next, fibronectin test was good so they knew the labor process had been stopped. I also got to come off of nine days' worth of bed rest yesterday because of all that and was able to start working again today for the first time in a couple of weeks (I work from home). So I am happy to be up and about and feeling good today! One thing I noticed is that it was hard to trust my body and not freak out about every little thing after our scare. My cervix is still soft so the threat will continue to be there. It's a reminder to not overdo things for the rest of the pregnancy. And I am thankful that there are pills (which my OB gave me) that I can take if I feel contractions again (didn't even know they had such a thing!) So third trimester, here we go!
